"Treasure your tears for they are the blueprints of your soul"

Book Reviews

About the Book: "The Tears To Treasure", is a story about Amy’s Journey, a journey that will take its reader through a whirlwind of emotions such as love, laughter, disappointment, pain, guilt, passion and happiness. It is a story of falling in love, marriage, children, and the strength and courage it takes to embrace life and keep moving forward. The tears that Amy sheds through her many trials and tribulations are very much an important part of her story as you will read chapter after chapter, tear after tear. It is a journey of life in its best dress and its dirtiest laundry. It will make you feel like you have "been there and done that" in one or more parts of Amy’s Journey. "The Tears To Treasure", is an easy and delightful read and can even be thought of as, “Short and sweet”.
This story was inspired by actual Tear Bottles that have been used for sentiment and held with respect for centuries.

Recommendation: Womensselfesteem.com recommends the book "The Tears To Treasure", to every type of reader that just wants to escape their world for a short time and lose themselves in a kind hearted story that will remind them that, ”life is meant to be lived”.

Amy and Brandon are brought together by love and spend their life building a family and making a home. All during the life changing events that occur, Amy is sent Tear Bottles and a note from an anonymous person telling her to treasure her tears.

I personally love when a story is developed by an author from a real life experience. I was happy to read that experience at the end of the book. I feel that the author did a good job of recognizing the ups and downs of life’s journey and giving narrative to the feelings we have along the way. I had pegged this book as being predictable given the early chapters but found myself surprised, even shocked, at some of the reasons why Amy should treasure her tears. The end gave me pause and I could picture many of times in my own life when I could have benefited from a tear bottle.

Ms. Vickie Suchy has written a romantic tale with an underlying mystery. Amy is strong in her beliefs, and matures through life lessons. She learns that you must sometimes forgive in order to progress, while Brandon learns to be ever vigilant with his marriage because all too quickly it can be destroyed. All through their life together, Amy receives more tear bottles, some at the worst possible times. I became wrapped up in the mystery of the tear bottles and the poem explaining their purpose. This story is a great read.

The author, Ms. Vickie Suchy, has done an amazing job writing this story. She opens your eyes to the powerful emotion of love. The bond that holds a family together in both good and bad times. The story will nudge at your heart, bring tears to your eyes, and make you think. Ms. Suchy offers pieces of herself within this story, which gives you a great sense of who this incredible author really is. A very compassionate, forgiving, kind woman. Reading this story, I couldn’t put it down. I read it from start to finish. I was disappointed when it was over, because I just wanted to read more. I cannot wait to read future works by this talented lady!
I would highly recommend this book to everyone. Men, women, new parents, experienced parents, young and old. They will definitely enjoy it. A five star book!

Enduring love, believable emotions and authentic life experiences… these are the things to treasure about Vickie Suchy’s new book, The Tears to Treasure-Amy’s Journey.  Through Amy’s life experiences, we realize that tears of sadness as well as joy should be cherished and treasured, for they mold and shape us into unique individuals, gradually increasing the depth and breadth of our emotions and making us more caring and empathic of others along the way.

What I loved best about the story of Amy and Brandon was the fact that the very believability of their story allowed me to easily relate to the emotions they experienced.  Reading their story was a lot like flipping through my own family photo albums.   As the story progressed, I began to anticipate the mysterious arrival of each precious tear bottle, knowing that it signified a major life experience for Amy that would tap directly into the wellspring of my own precious memories, allowing me to relive those major milestones in my own life, such as falling in love, the birth of a child and losing a loved one. The greatest significance of this story is that it compels the reader to recognize the intrinsic and lasting value of each person’s unique journey through life.  Five stars for authentic emotions!

Throughout the trials and tribulations of their lives, during every major event sickness, births, injury, betrayal and even death. A package with a beautiful gift with the same message, For you Amy I give this…

Vickie Suchy knows how to hook the reader with the mysterious, “gift sender,” and dealing with real life situations such as the lost of trust towards someone you love, learning to forgive, dealing with the joy of life and the sorrows of death, in general all the complexities that come with love.
After reading “The Tears to Treasure Amy‘s Journey,” I realized that throughout our lives there will be times of both extreme happiness and sadness. Our tears are a part of our soul therefore we should remember whenever we shed them. Because the events that bring about our tears are what shape us into the individuals we ultimately become.

I give “The Tears to Treasure Amy‘s Journey,” four stars, its definitely a good read. It’s a “can’t put down,” until you figure out who is the mysterious “gift sender.”

I just finished reading “The Tears to Treasure,” by Vickie Suchy. After I was finished reading, the first thought that came to my mind was, “Wow!” I absolutely loved it. The journey of Amy was amazing and I cried right along with her. I was able to feel all the emotions as though I was living them. During Amy’s journey she receives these exquisite Tear Bottles without knowing whom they are from, I thought that I knew until I found out at the end and it was not who I was expecting.

I had never heard of Tear Bottles before and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about these bottles. After the story has ended Suchy gives us information on how she learned of the Tear Bottles and she also tells us what exactly a Tear Bottle is. She also lists a website where you can purchase Tear Bottles and I know I will be visiting it.  I know someone right know that has an upcoming occasion that the gift of a Tear Bottle would be fitting.

The story is very well written and I would encourage everyone to pick up a copy of “The Tears to Treasure,” it is fabulous.
